Since 2011, Area Park has taken photographs of cities and searched for new ways of documentation through photography. ‘Moving Nuclear’ is a series of works which is about a ship moving from Jeju towards the equator. Photographs are taken from the inside of the ship looking outwards to the sea. The sea looks ordinary but the radioactive water that has flowed into the sea shows that the tragedy at Fukushima spreads and continues beyond distance and time.
